Important information about enrollment during final exams

According to the admission and enrollment regulations of the University of Freiburg from the 20.09.2007, the candidates have to complete their exams (oral, written exams or final essays) while still being enrolled at the University of Freiburg. Meaning that you have to be enrolled as a student until you submitted all requirements of your programme. You don't need to be enrolled for awaiting the grade of your thesis.

Examination registration, Changing email and postal address

In Campus Mangement (HISinOne) you can register to take part in the exams. Please be sure that you do this within the registration deadline for each exam. The deadlines you will find in the online registration. Also check if the registration was succesful and print out transcript.

Registering for and taking an exam or submitting the master thesis is only possible if you are matriculated. Meaning that you have to be enrolled as a student until you submitted all requirements of your programme. You don't need to be enrolled for awaiting the grade of your thesis.

Please make sure that if you change your home or email address, to also change it in the Campus Mangement (HISinOne) under "edit address".

Inability to take part in an examination due to illness

If you fall ill and are physically not able to take part in an exam or if you get sick during your master thesis, then it is very important to send in a medical certificate to the examination office. Your doctor has to fill in a form which is provided on this website. It is important to get the doctors certificate on the very same day that your illness begins (you cannot claim illness previous to the day of your doctor's appointment/visit) and to inform the examinations office straight away via email or phone.
